Lenovo launches heavyweight Thinkpad 8 tablet

It’s not just another portable way to watch your movies. The Thinkpad 8 redefines the way you view and work on your tablet.
Since the introduction of tablets to the market, we’ve been trying to make it work as a laptop/netbook replacement. Think about it: a tablet is thin, portable, and has a degree of autonomy from the wall socket. If you’re used to working on your spreadsheets and reports on a laptop however, turning a tablet into a replacement may need a bit of work or adjustment.
Lenovo‘s newest professional-class tablet may just be the perfect solution. The Thinkpad 8 is the brand’s premium offering and readily connects to a keyboard and even a monitor for a full PC experience, or hooks up to a Bluetooth keyboard for a legit laptop replacement.
The Thinkpad 8 comes with the latest Intel Bay Trail Quad Core processor and offers up to 128GB of internal storage (with a microSD card). The tablet is capable to expand into a desktop PC by attaching it to a Thinkpad USB 3.0 dock station. Here are the specs:

Lenovo was able to cram a decent netbook into the size of a tablet, turning it into a heavyweight. But heavyweight specs come at a price: be ready to shell out P25,490 for this little guy at all Lenovo-affiliated resellers nationwide.
