Last month, OPPO released their newest flagship, the F3 Plus. The said phone featured a unique dual-camera selfie shooter setup, which enables users to fit more people in a ‘groufie.’ The F3 Plus was certainly a hot seller, as it sold over 8,000 units during OPPO’s three-day road show. Next month, OPPO is set to release the F3, a slightly smaller version of the said phone, which also features the same camera setup.
Global electronics brand OPPO is pushing the groufie trend to greater heights with the upcoming launch of the OPPO F3 on May 4.
“With more people getting into the groufie trend, we realized how important it is to make the experience not just fun and memorable, but also hassle-free,” OPPO Philippines Brand Marketing Manager Stephen Cheng said. “Expanding our list of groufie-capable phones allows us to give consumers the tools they need to step up their group selfie game.”
The newest Selfie Expert joins OPPO’s family of dual selfie camera smartphones following the successful nationwide sale of the F3 Plus beginning last April 1. Like the F3 Plus, the OPPO F3 inherits the same dual front camera design which includes a 16MP main camera for individual selfies, as well as an 8MP wide-angle secondary camera for group snaps.
Backed by state-of-the-art hardware and powerful software for optimal performance, the OPPO F3 lets users do away with their selfie sticks during groufies without having to worry about cropped faces or leaving anyone behind. Simply switch to ‘Group Selfie’ mode to expand the camera’s field of view. The sub-camera’s 6P lens further prevents image distortion, while OPPO’s premiere photo editing software, Beautify 4.0, ensures a flawless look.
“The OPPO F3 is designed to capture our best moments whether on our own or with the people we love,” Cheng added. “By making groufies easy, our latest dual selfie camera phone can encourage more people to celebrate togetherness with friends and family.”
Since it introduced the first rotating mobile phone camera in 2013, OPPO has continued to pioneer front camera technology including its 16MP selfie-focused camera, as well as its latest wide-angle groufie-focused camera.
