HyperX releases new budget gaming headset


Designed to make even the most casual gamer feel like a pro, the HyperX Cloud Stinger features HyperX signature memory foam and 50mm directional drivers to deliver a comfortable, high-quality sound experience at an affordable price.


HyperX Cloud Stinger weighs just 275 grams and is built with 90-degree rotating ear cups to provide hours of comfort for console and PC gaming. The lightweight headset includes 50mm directional drivers that are tilted to position sound directly into the ear, resulting in a broader and more accurate in-game sound. HyperX Cloud Stinger also offers a convenient set of features for gameplay, including a swivel to mute the microphone, an adjustable steel slider for long lasting durability, and volume controls on the headset.


Plextor Launches Entry-level SSD, the S1


Plextor announced its last model in the MLC SSD product line, the S1 Series SSD for these users.


Plextor’s S1 series are designed with the best price-performance ratio in mind to meet the need of the Southeast Asian Market The strength of S1’s core components comes from the Toshiba’s high-quality Toggle Mode MLC NAND flash memory, as well as the SMI’s well-reputed SM2246 controller. By extending Plextor’s exclusive firmware technology, and employing industry-preferred components, the S1 series provides users with performance up to 510/440 MB/s in sequential read/write and 74K/79K IOPS in random read/write, respectively. The excellent performance data exhibited by the S1 series bring application advantages to users which exceed those of entry-level solutions.


Kingston Releases IronKey D300 and IronKey D300 Managed Encrypted USB Flash Drive


Kingston  announced the release of IronKey™ D300 and IronKey D300 Managed encrypted USB Flash drives. Both drives deploy an advanced level of encryption that builds on the features that have made IronKey such a well-respected name when it comes to safeguarding sensitive information. Kingston acquired the USB technology and assets of IronKey in February 2016.


IronKey D300 is FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certified, with 256-bit AES hardware encryption in XTS mode. The drive’s exterior is made with a zinc casing and waterproof* to 4 feet while the interior components are encased in a tamper-evident epoxy seal for physical security. IronKey D300 employs digitally signed firmware, making it immune to the BadUSB malware, and it enforces complex password protocol** with minimum characteristics to prevent unauthorized access.


PNY releases Type-C OTG Flash Drive UCD10 / UCD20


The Type-C OTG UCD10 and UCD20 features dual connectors that work with both standard USB Type-A and Type-C ports to give users easy access to the latest USB interface. Equipped with SuperSpeed USB 3.1 / Generation 1, the UCD20 offers lightning speed performance with read speeds up to 120MB/s and write speeds up to 20MB/s. The lightweight and small-form factor OTG drive complements portable devices and is easily transportable.


ViewSonic Extends Partnership with Epsilon eSports


ViewSonic Corp., a leading global provider of visual solution products, announces it has extended its partnership with Epsilon, an international professional eSports organization. KINGMAX Wins 2016 Golden Pin Design Award


The KINGMAX “AirQ Check Air Quality Monitoring Device” has emerged from a pack of 3005 submissions to win the 2016 “Golden Pin Design Award”! The Golden Pin Design Award is the top design award in the international Chinese-speaking market. The 35 year-old award in Taiwan invites top international design experts ever year to serve as the judges for the preliminary, secondary and final rounds judging. This year’s entries came from 11 countries including Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Canada, UK, Denmark, and Switzerland.
