Budget phones have come a long way. Back then, performance of cheaper models left much to be desired. Now though, entry-level phones are becoming increasingly packed with features that were only found in higher end models back then. Starmobile’s new Play LiTE for example, is capable of connecting to 4G LTE, ensuring fast internet connectivity.
Philippine smart devices manufacturer Starmobile recently launched the PLAY LiTE, its latest dual-SIM Android 6.0 Marshmallow smartphone capable of connecting to 4G LTE for a smooth and speedy internet experience.
“We are happy to announce that the PLAY LiTE now supports the powerful 700 MHz LTE frequency,” said Michael Chen, Starmobile Product Development Head. “Users would be able to enjoy more reliable internet speeds for lag-free browsing, surfing, and gaming.”
The 5-inch PLAY LiTE is packed with a quad core multi-tasking processor great for playing games and surfing the web. Its 3000mAh battery – which is bigger than what is usually found in other 5-inch smartphones – is power efficient and can provide up to 15 hours talk and 8.3 days standby time.
With its 8MP rear camera with flash and 5MP front camera, users can capture and preserve clear photos and HD videos.
The Starmobile PLAY LiTE is priced at Php 3,990 and will come with a SUPER PACK 600 Smart Prepaid SIM that includes up to 600MB of free data a month.
Expect it in Starmobile concept stores, kiosks, and authorized resellers nationwide from the 2nd week of December 2016.
