Livestreamed from their unveiling event in India, Xiaomi has announced the release of the Mi4i. A successor to last year’s Mi4, the Mi4i packs goodies in its specs that Mi fans have come to love at a pricepoint that any smartphone user would appreciate.

The Chinese smart devices maker announced their new smartphone together with a few important sales figures. It appears that Xiaomi is now the number one smartphone brand in China, the country with the greatest volume of consumers and the battleground for all smartphone makers in general. If you can make it in China, you’ve secured a significant piece of the consumer pie for your business.
