Are we seeing the rumored Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra soon?

“Get ready for the ultimate Ultra experience.”

This is what Dr. TM Roh, Samsung Electronics’ President and Head of MX Business, teases fans with in a recent press release about the upcoming Unpacked session. which has been confirmed to happen in February 2022.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2022

He acknowledges the lack of a Galaxy Note line in 2021, saying, “We know many of you were surprised when Samsung didn’t release a new Galaxy Note last year. You loved the unparalleled creativity and efficiency of the Galaxy Note series, which enabled you to switch from gaming nirvana to high-octane productivity in the blink of an eye. You raved about the lifelike S Pen, which many say rivals putting ink to paper. And we haven’t forgotten about these experiences you love…”

With a few obvious puns, he then spills that the next flagship—which the grapevine has said to be the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra—will take a lot of inspiration from the Galaxy Note.

“At Unpacked in February 2022, we’ll introduce you to the most noteworthy S series device we’ve ever created. The next generation of Galaxy S is here, bringing together the greatest experiences of our Samsung Galaxy into one ultimate device.”

Aside from the new device’s speed and efficiency, Roh  highlights its cameras, boasting of “the best and brightest photos and videos” in low-light environments, as well as how it be a part of “the most sustainable Galaxy ecosystem.”

Leaks provided by sources of Techradar.com say that the reported Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will run on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 chipset, and the Ultra will have a 1TB internal storage option. Pricing is still up in the air at this point.

The launch of the anticipated Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is said to be happening in the second week of February, so stay posted!
