We’ve had the ZenFone 5 for almost a year now, and the experience is honestly quite enjoyable still despite the number of months and updates that have passed. However, with the recent Android™ Pie 9.0 roll-out, there are definitely changes that make using the said ZenFone better than ever. Here is the rundown of what we know so far:
It’s faster and smoother now than ever
The recent roll-out allows a snappier and more fluid touch response. This comes in handy for those situations that need a quick whipping out of a camera to catch that one friend in their stupor.
It’s trying to get our lives together
Android™ Pie 9.0 is introduced as a “manager” per se. It introduces the Accesibility Menu, which helps us in prioritizing the apps that we need more. While this is not new to the ZenFone 5, having to tap lesser than the usual number needed is quite a time saver.
Taking gaming to the next level
It’s been known that gaming on the ZenFone 5 is spectacular. Now, with the support for the OpenGL ES 3.2 and Vulkan 1.1, the ZenFone 5 is not only a powerful sharp shooter in terms of cameras but also in terms of playing our favorite mobile games.
These are just some things we’ve experienced with the ZenFone 5 since the change in OS. There are certainly more things enjoyable about the update, and the current improvements we’ve tried and tested are testaments to that.
