Taipei Game Show 2026 is about to kick off, and it’s shaping up to be the biggest gaming event in the Asia Pacific. The event will be from January 29 to February 1 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. This year’s show brings together 399 exhibitors from 26 countries with over 500 games spanning console, PC, and mobile platforms.
What’s New at Taipei Game Show 2026
The event has expanded to a dynamic two-level showcase across the exhibition center’s 1F Area I and entire 4F space. More than 100 unreleased titles will be available for hands-on previews, alongside esports competitions and an extensive hardware showcase.
Major Game Announcements
Taipei Game Show 2026 is bringing heat with exclusive playable demos. Nintendo returns for its fourth consecutive year with an expanded booth featuring Kirby Air Riders, Mario Kart World, and character meet-and-greets.
Big-name publishers are rolling out their heaviest hitters. Justdan will showcase Resident Evil Requiem, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, and PRAGMATA. Bandai Namco Entertainment Taiwan brings highly anticipated titles including CODE VEIN II, Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, and Dragon Quest VII Reimagined.
KOEI TECMO GAMES debuts Nioh 3 with globally first playable demos of DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered and FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE.
Mobile gaming fans aren’t left out. Taipei Game Show 2026 features Arknights: Endfield, Star Resonance, GIRLS’ FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM, and HoYoverse’s Zenless Zone Zero with challenge stages and live events. Azur Promilia makes its first-ever physical public appearance with playable demos.
Returning to Taipei Game Show 2026: Indie House and Board Game Wonderland
Indie House, title-sponsored by Smilegate STOVE, features 191 developers from 23 countries showcasing over 250 titles. Taiwanese indie games like Legend of Mortal and Aeruta appear alongside international publishers including Pocketpair and PLAYISM.
Board Game Wonderland reaches record scale with 31 companies presenting over 80 titles. Popular trading card games including Pokémon Trading Card Game, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, and Disney Lorcana will be featured.
TGS STAGE Live Events
Taipei Game Show 2026 partners with ASUS ROG to present 15 esports tournaments and live events at TGS STAGE, including a Nintendo Switch 2 game party, Rainbow Six exhibition matches, and an AKB48 Team TP performance. All programs will be livestreamed on Twitch and YouTube.
Tickets and Online Sales
Pre-sale tickets are available until January 27 via ibon and Klook at NT$200 (on-site tickets are NT$250). Late-Bird Tickets sold on-site after 3:30 PM each day allow two people to enter with one admission free.
Taipei Game Show 2026 continues its Steam collaboration with 290 games on sale at discounts starting from 90% off, letting gamers expand their collections at unbeatable prices.
