The gaming industry has seen a lot of growth during the pandemic. Statista reports that there has been a 39% increase in time spent playing video games worldwide, and this is reflected by the global video gaming market value in 2020, which hit 155.89 billion USD.

Following this trend, many tech companies have been pushing to create more products that cater to the growing population of gamers. CES 2022 has seen many of these releases, such as the first LG gaming laptop.

The Innovation Awardee UltraGear 17G90Q is the latest addition to the premium UltraGear line. It’s light, weighing less than 2.7 kg., with a body made of aluminum.

Under the hood, it offers high-end components such as the NVIDIA GeoForce RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics card boosted by the 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake H processor, plus dual-channel memory and a dual SSD setup.

These complement the 17-inch IPS display with a 300Hz refresh rate. High temperatures are managed by LG’s vapor cooling system.

When it comes to aesthetics, the UltraGear 17G90Q is pretty low-key, save for its RGB keyboard, which allows you to customize the backlight color for each key. This makes this portable rig both office- and leisure-ready.

Check out what more it can offer.
