The newest flagship series from Huawei has been unveiled late last night via livestream. The new P40 series features top shelf specs, up-to-date camera optics, and maximized display real estate to really push the envelope of form-meets-function.
There are three handsets in this series: the P40, P40 Pro, and P40 Pro+. As customary for flagships these days, each phone has further options for memory.
Here are the specs for each phone. Note that for the Philippines, the only currently-available handsets for pre-order are the P40 and P40 Pro.
Huawei is really banking on their partnership with Leica, and it comes as no surprise, since the collaboration has produced some of the most powerful camera setups to be put into smartphones. The P40 has a three camera setup at the back, the P40 Pro has four, and the P40 Pro+ has a whopping five.
And no, the new P40 phones won’t come with Google Play but will instead have the company’s very own Huawei App Store.
As mentioned earlier, only the P40 and P40 Pro are available in the Philippines for pre-order. And since the country is under Enhanced Community Quarantine (as of writing, at least), all pre-orders will be done online via the official Huawei and MemoExpress stores on Lazada and Shopee.
